• Goldberg Comments On Crucifying Himself During Match With The Undertaker

During a recent WWE Network documentary, Day Of: Super ShowDown 2020, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg talked about returning to Saudi Arabia, after his infamous match with The Undertaker.

Below is what Goldberg said:

“Here we are again. The place I tried to destroy my career. You would think I wouldn’t want to be back but, actually, I wanted to be back so that I can rectify the wrong I did to myself, Taker and everybody else.

Everything that happened to me [during that trip] was a negative… I crucified myself. I definitely had reservations about [coming back].”

Goldberg went on to defeat The Fiend to win the Universal Championship in the main event of WWE Super ShowDown 2020, then lost the Title to Braun Strowman in the co-main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.
