Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.

• During an interview on 93.7 The Ticket, Bill Goldberg was asked which night was the best night of his professional wrestling career.

Goldberg picked July 6, 1998, which was the night where he defeated Hollywood Hogan to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in front of 40,000 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on WCW Monday Nitro.

Here’s what The Icon said:

“All-encompassing? It’d have to be (Hulk) Hogan. At the end of the night, when we went off the air, the (NFL’s Atlanta) Falcons came and saved me.

Hands down, that was the best night of my wrestling career, and it had nothing to do with the belt.”
