• Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley Rumored For SummerSlam 2021
Bobby Lashley is set to defend the WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston at next month’s Money In The Bank 2021 PPV.
This is just a filler feud on Lashley’s road to SummerSlam, as Lashley is scheduled to defeat Kingston and then move on to the next feud.
According to the Wrestling Observer, there are rumors of bringing back WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg for another WWE Championship match this year.
There’s speculation going on regarding Lashley vs. Goldberg for the WWE Championship in the co-main event of SummerSlam 2021.
There were rumors for Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar to take place, but it is possible that WWE wants to save that match for a future PPV main event, since the main event of SummerSlam 2021 will be Roman Reigns vs. John Cena.
If Goldberg comes back to face Lashley for the Title, it would most likely result in another loss for the WCW Legend.
Goldberg faced Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble 2021 PPV and lost.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (June 28, 2013) – Old School WWF Veteran Passed Away
On this day in 2013, we lost Old School WWF Veteran “Doink The Clown” Matt Borne (Real name: Matthew Osborne) at the age of 55 due to a drug overdose.
Matt Borne played the original Doink The Clown, which was a Heel gimmick, before others took over and the character turned babyface.
Pretty much everyone considers him to be by far the very best to ever play the role of Doink.
In 1991 & 1992, Matt also wrestled for World Championship Wrestling under the name ‘Big Josh’.
