As we have noted before, Raw Live Events used to feature “Champion vs. Champion” main event matches between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and then United States Champion Roman Reigns.

Now WWE officials have begun these “Champion vs. Champion” main events matches at SmackDown Live Events between WWE Champion AJ Styles & Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose.
