• Good News For Cody Rhodes Fans
Cody Rhodes is at his peak right now when it comes to being a professional wrestler.
The 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner will have the biggest match of his career next Sunday on April 2nd, when he faces Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 39 – Night 2.
The American Nightmare is the #1 babyface in WWE right now and that reflects on his merch sales, as the Wrestling Observer reported the following:
“Rhodes is now hitting the levels of top tier main eventers as far as merchandise sales go.”
Does this strong merch sales report mean that WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H is going to book Cody to finally win the big one, even if that means Roman doesn’t get to complete 1,000 days as champion? We’ll find out soon.
On last night’s SmackDown, Rhodes defeated Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium in a first time ever match.
After the match, Paul Heyman set up Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for Monday’s RAW. Cody said Solo isn’t ready and at WrestleMania, The Tribal Chief isn’t ready either.
On next Friday’s WrestleMania SmackDown, Reigns & Rhodes will come face-to-face for the final time before their WrestleMania Hollywood showdown.
