3. Kevin Owens Wants WWE To Split The Roster
During a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo, Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens noted that he would like WWE to split the rosters as that would make things interesting. Below is what he said:
“Yeah, I think so. I think shake things up a bit and make for some very interesting situations and interesting match-ups that would create a different feel. That is not to say that eventually if the brand split were to happen, a couple of years down the line, mixing the rosters back up together would be interesting as well. I like when things get shaken up, I like when unexpected things happen. I feel like a brand split would be a bit of a chaotic situation, but I like chaos. I find chaos interesting and exciting.”
Owens also noted that The Undertaker is his dream opponent and he wants to face him at WrestleMania 33. It should be noted that Owens wanted to face Undertaker this year at WrestleMania 32, but WWE turned him down. Below is what Owens had to say:
“It’s always big when you face someone like The Undertaker, no matter if it’s at WrestleMania, Raw or at a house show in Texas. Undertaker obviously is a huge superstar, but WrestleMania is the place for him. Of course I would love to fight him, I’ve said in other interviews, he would be my dream rival.
Yes, it would be Undertaker. Any WrestleMania will be special. It’s not going to happen this year, but that does not mean it’s not going to happen next year.”
