Up next is the main event of the evening, it’s time for Brock Lesnar’s first Universal Title defense. It’s time for Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe!

“The Destroyer” Samoa Joe makes his way out first. Out next is the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar along with Paul Heyman. JoJo introduces the challenger, while Paul Heyman introduces the Champion, but Joe attacks Lesnar before Heyman is finshed.

Joe slams Lesnar through the announce table! The match hasn’t begun yet and Lesnar is still recovering from this attack. Lesnar is now smiling and tells the referee to begin the match.

Joe hammers Lesnar as soon as the match starts. Lesnar gets back into the fight with knees, but Joe is muscling Lesnar in the corner! Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch, but Lesnar gets out of it and Joe goes face first into the turnbuckle. Lesnar is now taking Joe to Suplex City as he delivers 3 suplexes!

Lesnar goes for another suplex, but Joe delivers a low blow to Lesnar and the referee didn’t see it. Joe goes for the pin, but Lesnar kicks out.
