• ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan Reveals His Favorite Opponent

During a recent interview on AdFreeShows, WWF Legend ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan was asked about his favorite opponent of all time during his long, illustrious professional wrestling career.

Here’s what the 2011 WWE Hall of Famer replied:

“Ted DiBiase. I wrestled Ted a bunch, all over the place. When I came into Mid-South, I was still green. I had only been in the business like 4 years, I didn’t know anything.

They put me and DiBiase and Matt Bourne together as the Rat Pack, and I started to learn the business. And I learned a lot from Ted over the years.”

After a successful 1982-1986 run with Bill Watts’ Mid-South Wrestling promotion, Jim Duggan joined the World Wrestling Federation in early 1987 and stayed with the company until 1993, before joining Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1994.

He wrestled for WCW until they were sold to the WWF in 2001 and eventually returned to (the now renamed) WWE for one last run from 2005 till 2009.
