• Hall Of Famer Doubts That Tony Khan & Shad Khan Could Handle Running WWE

We recently reported that the reason Vince McMahon returned to WWE’s Board of Directors, is believed to be, that he’s preparing to sell the promotion.

Tony Khan’s father Shad Khan could (in theory) afford to buy WWE, but during a recent episode of his weekly ’83 Weeks’ podcast, 2021 WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff raised some serious doubts that Khan could even remotely handle running WWE properly.

Here’s what Bischoff had to say:

“Acquiring WWE is, that’s a big, giant move. I don’t see it. Now, could it happen? Sure, anything is possible.

But if you really think about it, does the Khan enterprise have the experience, knowledge, infrastructure, ability to run a company as complex as WWE?

They may be in the same business, but they don’t live and play in the same universe.”
