• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 61st birthday of Old School WWF Legend Mr. Perfect (Real name: Curt Hennig).

After winning the AWA World Heavyweight Championship in 1987, Curt joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1988, where he became known as Mr. Perfect.

After a successful run with the WWF until 1993 and on-off non-wrestling appearances in 1994, 1995 & 1996, Hennig joined the rival promotion, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1997, wrestled for them till 2000, before he returned home to the WWF in early 2002.

Curt was the son of Old School AWA Legend Larry “The Axe” Hennig and the father of WWE PG-era wrestler Curtis Axel.

The former Intercontinental Champion passed away in 2003 at the young age of 44, but he keeps on living in the hearts of the Old School WWF/WCW fans.

In 2007, he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his old friend, baseball legend Wade Boggs.

• Hall Of Famer Not Excited About Kofi Kingston Being A “145 Lbs WWE Champion”

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship was finally made official for WrestleMania 35.

WWE Hall of Famer “Superstar” Billy Graham wasn’t pleased with this news and posted the following on Facebook:

“Is The WWE Serious ???

I turned on my computer today and went to the wrestling news sites and what did I see ? Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at mania. Talk is Vince is going to put that WWE belt on Kofi Kingston…… Sh*t…..You…not me, will have a 145 pound WWE champion.

This must of been an idea by the new Sr. Creative Lady Dana Warrior ? Meltzer says she has been promoted to an extremely high position on the creative team and attends meeting that only Vince, H and Step are in…damn…how did she get so smart ???

My friend Hannibal has been monitoring the Monday Night RAW steady decline in TV viewership. Well Hannibal, it dropped again last night in Boston, Monday, March 25th. Steady decline in TV viewership. I predict that this years mania will be so bad that next year, 2020, will not come close to selling out. The thrill is gone.

Is anyone out there really excited to see these 2 light weights wrestle for the WWE Championship ? Oh, one more thing. I would love to see Kofi at 145 pounds put his newly won WWE belt on the line against Brock Lesnar, great logistics, 1 man being out-weighed by a good 135 pounds, a total joke this thing is. S.B.G.”
