• Hall Of Famer Returning To Old WWE Role?
Adam Pearce is the WWE Official that handles on-screen backstage duties on both RAW & SmackDown right now.
According to The Wrestling Blog, there have been discussions of giving RAW & SmackDown their separate General Managers after the Draft:
“I was also told there’s been talk of WWE going back to the format of each brand having their own GM.
There’s been mentioning of Adam Pearce staying as a current GM, but there’s been talks of having a GM on each brand.”
PWInsider recently reported that WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long will return on tonight’s SmackDown, which will be Night 1 of the 2023 Draft.
While they didn’t note what Teddy is going to be there for, it’s possible that Teddy returns to his old role of being the SmackDown General Manager.
We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
