• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Legendary Old School WWF Character Brother Love (Real name: Bruce Prichard) celebrates his 56th birthday today.

His gimmick was based on most of the infamous televangelists (TV preachers) of the 80s.

Brother Love was an on-screen character on World Wrestling Federation TV from 1988 until 1991, but also returned to the WWF/WWE occasionally afterwards, namely in 1995, 1997, 2001, 2003 & 2018.

He was The Undertaker’s very first manager in late 1990 & early 1991, before Paul Bearer took over.

Bruce Prichard ended up reinventing himself in 2016, when he started his now famous podcast “Something To Wrestle With”.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER LOVE!

• Hall Of Famer Set To Leave WWE – Says He Won’t Be Out Of Work For Long

During a recent edition of Jim Ross Report podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross announced that he won’t be re-signing with WWE when his contract expires later this month.

JR also noted that he won’t be out of work for long.

Below is what Good Ol’ JR said:

“I’m 67, I still feel I can get the job done doing wrestling play-by-play and I want to explore that opportunity and possibility. I’ll be moving on in a positive way, nothing but good things to say about everyone involved. You know, I have my critics in WWE as we all do, as people do when you’re there for very long. It’s a very unique community and I have no regrets. The smartest thing I ever did was come to work for Vince McMahon in 1993.

I don’t think I’ll be out of work long.”

This has begun speculation that JR might be joining All Elite Wrestling, as there have been reports in the past that JR might be signing with AEW once his WWE contract expires.

We’ll keep you updated regarding JR’s status.
