• “Have fun with WCW” – Former WWE Star Slams AEW For Pushing The Elite Over Big Bill

Enzo Amore was released by WWE in 2018 and has worked in multiple companies since then, continuing his career under the name “Real1.”

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion revealed on a recent edition of the No Contest Wrestling podcast that he reached out to AEW after leaving WWE, but the company had no interest in signing him.

“AEW was something that I considered. I reached out. They had no interest.”

Later in the interview, he took a shot at AEW’s creative direction, specifically criticizing The Elite and how the company has used his former Tag Team partner Big Bill (Big Cass).

“You got Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks over in AEW… I hate that sh*t. Have fun with WCW, bro. I’ll wait for you guys to do something with Big Bill, who’s 7 feet tall and should be beating the sh*t out of all of you.”

• “I don’t think he’s the right booker for AEW” – WWE Hall Of Famer On Tony Khan

D-Von Dudley has recently been very vocal about his issues with All Elite Wrestling. He believes that the company isn’t being managed properly.

Speaking on The Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed the topic once again and said that AEW’s real problem isn’t its roster, but Tony Khan’s creative leadership.

“I’ve never buried the man. I’ve got no hard feelings. I just don’t think he’s the right booker for the company, even though he’s the guy that financially takes care of everybody. Listen, Dixie Carter financially took care of everybody in TNA at the time, but she wasn’t a booker.

And I’ve always said get somebody that can come in and help you book instead of the people you have surrounding you. I’ll always put the company over in terms of talent. I think the talent is great there. But it’s not the talent’s fault if the ratings or the houses aren’t up.

I can imagine if WWE had every single one of the AEW talents they have right now… oh yeah, that place would be unstoppable. NXT would be unstoppable.”

D-Von recently claimed that many wrestlers in AEW aren’t happy with the way the company is being run.
