• “He has truly gotten over” – Cody Rhodes On Roman Reigns

On this week’s episode of RAW after WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes opened the show with a promo to reveal what’s his goal in WWE.

He revealed that his goal is to go after a Title that no one from his family could win – the WWE Championship.

A lot of the fans were expecting Cody to confront the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns later in the show, but that didn’t happen.

Cody appeared on WWE’s The Bump today, where Cody talked about The Tribal Chief.

Rhodes said that in 2016, when he left, Roman was facing backlash due to his push to the top.

He said ‘getting over’ takes years of hard work and consistency, and said that The Head Of The Table has truly gotten over, as it was evident when he told the crowd at WrestleMania to acknowledge him and they did.

Cody said him vs. Roman is probably ‘THE Match’ in WWE, but they obviously need to cross paths before that happens.

You can watch it below:

For those who don’t remember, Cody took some shots at Roman during ROH shows in 2016 and even called him out for his drug test failure earlier that year.

At that time, Cody was calling himself the biggest draw in professional wrestling.

During an interview that year, Roman was asked about Cody’s comments and he replied Cody can’t be the biggest draw unless he’s drawing 100,000 people (Roman was referring to WrestleMania 32 having over 100,000 fans and him being in the main event at that PPV).
