• “He never succeeded anywhere” – Ric Flair Says Former World Champion Won’t Be In Any Hall Of Fame

Former 4-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas took shots at “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair back in the 90s and Flair didn’t like it.

During a recent edition of his podcast, Mark Madden asked Flair’s opinion on the promos Shane cut on him in ECW.

Below is what Flair said:

“Who is Shane Douglas? Who is he today? I’m asking. You know him real well, who is he?

He certainly means nothing to me in terms of being a talent. He never succeeded anywhere. He can say what he wants to say.

I don’t think you’ll see him in a Hall of Fame anywhere any time soon.”

In 2021, Shane said the following about Flair during an interview on The Hannibal TV:

“I’ve always had reverence and respect for Ric’s in-ring work. Him as a man? Not so much. I don’t expect him to be perfect – I’m far from perfect – but I do expect, just like what was done to him, somebody handed him the knowledge of wrestling. I expected the same thing as a kid. I try to do the same thing today.”

• Old School Attitude Era Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 47th birthday of Old School WWF Attitude Era Veteran Test (Real name: Andrew Martin).

Test wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation (later renamed WWE) from 1998 till 2004, but returned to their ECW brand in 2006 before they let him go again in 2007.

Test was allegedly named after the most common anabolic steroid, Testosterone, though Bruce Prichard claims that wasn’t the case.
