• Old School WWF Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 72nd birthday of Old School WWF Veteran “Canada’s Strongest Man” Dino Bravo (Real name: Adolfo Bresciano).

Dino wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation during the 70s and then again from 1985 until 1992, but is most likely never going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame because of the circumstances of his death.

In 1978, he won the WWWF Tag Team Titles with his tag partner Dominic DeNucci, when they defeated the team of Mr. Fuji & Professor Toru Tanaka.

• “He would damn near have a seizure as he would be so nervous about it” – Former WCW Star On Goldberg’s Promos

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, former WWE RAW General Manager and former WCW President, Eric Bischoff, criticized Goldberg’s ability to cut a promo.

Below is what he said:

“You put a microphone in front of him and his head would spin off his shoulders. He just couldn’t do it. I’m not saying he was bad at it. I’m saying it was impossible for him to cut a promo. Impossible.

He would damn near have a seizure as he would be so nervous about it. It was that bad. He wasn’t the greatest worker in the ring. He was passable. He was a little like Bill Goldberg in a sense. If you kept his move set down to a few and made sure he was really strong and didn’t put him in a position to sell a lot, as a performer, you can do some great things with him. He had a cool look.

But, man, you couldn’t do a promo with him.”

Goldberg has definitely come a long way in that sense, as his return promo on RAW in 2016 received a ton of praise from multiple Hall of Famers, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
