• Heel Turn & Major Twist Planned For Top NXT Stars

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Johnny Gargano in a Last Man Standing match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 on Saturday night to retain the NXT Championship. The bout marked the third consecutive time Ciampa and Gargano have main-evented an NXT special event on WWE Network.

There was speculation that Gargano will get the call up for the main roster soon while Ciampa would be the NXT Champion. However, there’s a huge twist being planned for the Gargano/Ciampa storyline.

According to Slice Wrestling, Johnny Gargano will be turning heel soon to reunite with Tommaso Ciampa which will lead to the reformation of DIY. Both men will then get the main roster call up together.
