On last week’s episode of NXT, Scrypts (fka Reggie on the WWE main roster, 4-time 24/7 Champion) got himself booked in a tag team match against Bronco Nima & Lucien Price, with his tag team partner being Axiom.
Axiom wasn’t happy about this. He said he’s happy to team up for this one match, but they’re not a tag team and he has his own goals here in NXT.
On tonight’s episode, Scrypts turned heel on Axiom and attacked him while the match was going on.
This led to Bronco Nima & Lucien Price destroying Axiom and winning their debut match in WWE NXT.
After the match, Scrypts left with Bronco & Lucien.
Also on tonight’s NXT, Dominik Mysterio won his first singles title in WWE.

– Tonight’s NXT kicked off with NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes & Ilja Dragunov coming face-to-face ahead of their Title Match at NXT Great American Bash on July 30th.
Ilja said he didn’t want to stick his nose in Carmelo’s business last week, but he wanted to make sure that Damian Priest didn’t cash-in his Money In The Bank contract successfully and then take the NXT Title to RAW.
– In a backstage segment, Mustafa Ali told Wes Lee that he wants to face him at NXT Great American Bash for the NXT North American Championship, not Dominik Mysterio. Wes said he’s ready for whatever Dirty Dom and Rhea Ripley throw at him.
– Tony D’Angelo got released from prison.
– Dragon Lee & Nathan Frazer def. Los Lotharios (Humberto Carrillo & Angel Garza)
After the match, Humberto blamed Angel for their loss and shoved him.
– The hooded individual took off their hood and it’s revealed to be Baron Corbin.
– Kiana James def. Gigi Dolin
– Bronco Nima & Lucien Price def. Axiom & Scrypts after Scrypts turned on Axiom
– Gallus vs. Tony D’Angelo & “Channing” Stacks Lorenzo for the NXT Tag Team Championship was made official for NXT Great American Bash.
– Thea Hail def. Elektra Lopez
After the match, Thea called out Tiffany Stratton and challenged her to a Submission Match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Great American Bash. Tiffany came out and accepted the challenge.
– Oro Mensah def. Eddy Thorpe with help from Dijak
– Roxanne Perez vs. Blair Davenport was made official for NXT Great American Bash.
– Dominik Mysterio def. Wes Lee (c) with help from The Judgment Day to win the NXT North American Championship
This is Dirty Dom’s 1st singles title win in WWE.
Dominik will now defend the North American Title against Mustafa Ali at Great American Bash on July 30th.
