On this day in 1989, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘NWA World Championship Wrestling’.

This episode from the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘NWA Halloween Havoc 1989′ PPV.

• History Made On Tonight’s RAW, WWE 24/7 Title Changes Hands Multiple Times

On tonight’s episode of RAW, former RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival pinned R-Truth in the ring to become joint WWE 24/7 Champions.

This is the first time a tag team held a singles title together.

However, they lost the Title back to R-Truth in a matter of seconds, with help from Carmella.

R-Truth was then celebrating becoming a 12 time WWE 24/7 Champion backstage, but Elias attacked him with a Guitar.

Elias then pinned Truth to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion. You can watch it below:
