• How WWE Is Confusing Fans About Masked Man’s Identity
The Masked Man helping The Vision is not portrayed by just one wrestler. This plan is meant to keep fans from guessing who the person really is.
The masked man first showed up at Survivor Series: WarGames, helping Team Vision win. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the person under the mask at Survivor Series was Austin Theory.
Meltzer said that Theory was meant to join The Vision to help him become a bigger star and protect other members for taking pinfall loses. The original plan for Theory to wrestle in the WarGames match changed because of an injury to Jacob Fatu, which resulted in Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre getting added to the match.
However, the person under the mask is now changing often. Bryan Alvarez is reporting that WWE is using “at least two different people” under the mask to confuse viewers. This stops fans from correctly guessing the person’s identity by looking at their body shape or size.
The masked man showed up on this week’s RAW and attacked Rey Mysterio and LA Knight.
• Good News For LA Knight Fans
As seen on last night’s RAW, LA Knight lost to Logan Paul after the masked man from Survivor Series attacked him.
After the match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him. Backstage, Reed hit Knight with a Tsunami on top of a car.
According to Bodyslam, 2026 is expected to be a much bigger and better year for The Mega Star. WWE is making sure to book him as one of the top babyfaces on the roster.
The company is fully aware of how loud and positive the fans react to Knight. They plan to use his current storyline with The Vision to make those reactions grow even stronger.
Because WWE sees the strong fan support, they are committed to taking their time with Knight’s push and focusing on the long-term plan for his success.
