On this day in 1979, Jerry Jarrett’s & Jerry Lawler’s Continental Wrestling Association aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘Memphis Wrestling’.

This promotion was the official Memphis territory from 1977 until it merged with the Texas based World Class Championship Wrestling in 1989 and became the United States Wrestling Association (USWA).

• How WWE Kept Brock Lesnar’s Money In The Bank 2019 Return A Secret

Brock Lesnar returned during the ending moments of the Men’s Money In The Bank 2019 ladder match (it looks like he took Sami Zayn’s spot).

Lesnar pushed Ali off the ladder and went on to win the match.

According to PWInsider, only a few people in WWE (which obviously includes the MITB participants) knew about Brock Lesnar’s Money In The Bank 2019 role.

To keep his return a secret, Lesnar was kept hidden backstage and no one knew he was backstage until he arrived at the Gorilla position for his appearance.

As you can see in the above video, Ali landed hard on the ropes and was busted open. Below is a photo of Ali bleeding from the mouth:

Also, Lesnar pushed a ladder on to a camera man while he was running to the ring during his entrance (as you can see in the above video). That camera man might have got hurt as he was down and trainers were checking on him.
