9. Plans For NXT Stable To Debut on Raw?
Back in December 2015, there were plans for NXT Champion Finn Balor to debut on the WWE main roster with his “Balor Club” stable. Vince McMahon was reportedly very much open to calling Balor to the main roster but Triple H refused to agree with Vince and wants to slow things down with Balor.
With the WWE main roster in need of fresh faces, there were talks of a stable from NXT debuting on Raw (not Balor Club) ad challenging the main roster stars. However, Triple H was afraid that it would hurt the NXT brand if many top NXT Superstars leave for Raw at the same time.
These plans might be reconsidered given the fact that multiple top NJPW stars will be heading to NXT in the coming months.
