Huge Main Event For WrestleMania 34 Already Planned

WrestleMania

WrestleMania 33 is still two weeks away and even the complete match card is not known yet, but we might already know the main event of next year’s WrestleMania 34!

Wrestling Observer is reporting that Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship is currently the plan for the main event of WrestleMania 34 (with Lesnar being the Champion & Reigns being the challenger).

While Lesnar is scheduled to defeat Goldberg to capture the WWE Universal Title in the main event of WrestleMania 33, this doesn’t mean he’s going to hold onto the Title all the way to WrestleMania 34. Similarly, Reigns being in the main event of WrestleMania 34 doesn’t mean he’s going to defeat The Undertaker in the co-main event of this year’s WrestleMania 33 (as noted by the Wrestling Observer).

Lesnar’s current three year deal ends at WrestleMania 34 and he’s expected to work more WWE dates this year.

It should be noted that Reigns & Lesnar clashed in the main event of WrestleMania 31 as well, but that match had no clear winner as Seth Rollins cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract in this match to make it a Triple Threat. The match between Lesnar & Reigns ended up being the most brutal main event in the history of WrestleMania in recent years.
