On this day in 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Thunder’.

This episode was pre-taped at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Spring Stampede 1999’ PPV.

• Huge Stipulation Added To WrestleMania 35 Match

On tonight’s episode of RAW, “The Game” Triple H noted that Batista has refused to compete at WrestleMania 35 unless HHH agrees to another stipulation.

Triple H revealed that Batista wants to put HHH’s career on the line at WrestleMania 35.

Triple H said if he doesn’t agree, then Batista will quit again and HHH won’t let that happen this time.

Triple H then agreed to put his career on the line at WrestleMania 35! This is the second time HHH has put his career on the line at WrestleMania (he first did it in 2013 at WrestleMania 29 against Brock Lesnar).
