Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Hulk Hogan, Mike Tyson and Cody Rhodes.

• Hulk Hogan has expressed his support for Jake Paul in the upcoming boxing match against Mike Tyson, stating that Paul is “too strong” for the 58-year-old Tyson. The fight is set for November 15, and while Tyson has extensive experience, Paul’s youth and strength have led to mixed opinions about the outcome.

On Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Hogan shared his concerns:

“Your brother’s too strong, bro. Last night, as soon as I saw him… I went, ‘Oh my god’. I mean, really. He was scary.

I love Mike to death. I don’t want him to kill Mike, Jesus.”

Logan Paul echoed Hogan’s sentiments, highlighting Jake’s impressive strength in the gym.

Despite concerns over Tyson’s health following a recent ulcer flare-up, Jake Paul remains confident in Tyson’s ability to fight and has not drafted a backup fighter.

Tyson’s former sparring partner, Joe Egan, suggested that Tyson might hold back to avoid “seriously hurting” Jake.

• Wesley Eisold, the lead singer of the band American Nightmare, has filed a lawsuit against WWE, Cody Rhodes, and Fanatics over Cody’s use of the “American Nightmare” nickname.

The lawsuit, submitted in federal court in California, accuses the defendants of trademark infringement, breach of contract, and interference with agreements.

Eisold has owned the trademark for “American Nightmare” in clothing, music, and entertainment since 2016. In 2021, he reached an agreement with Cody allowing him to use the name, provided specific conditions were met.

Wesley now claims WWE, Cody Rhodes, and Fanatics violated this agreement by selling merchandise with the “American Nightmare” name that fails to adequately reference Cody as a wrestler.

He also notes confusion, with fans wearing Cody’s merchandise to his band’s concerts and tagging his band in posts about Cody.

Eisold is seeking at least $150,000 in damages and additional damages of up to $300,000 for trademark infringement, along with attorney fees.
