On this day in 1998, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Shotgun Saturday Night ‘.
It was pre-taped at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF In Your House 25: Judgment Day’ PPV.

• Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair’s Next WWE Appearance Revealed, Their Last Segment Resulted In An Extra 500,000 Fans Tuning In
WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair will be making their next WWE appearance on the October 28th edition of Monday Night RAW, which is the go-home edition of the show for WWE Crown Jewel 2019 PPV (where they’ll appear as well).
Team Hogan vs. Team Flair in a 5 on 5 tag team match is set to take place at Crown Jewel 2019 and below are their teams so far:
Team Hogan:

– Ricochet

Team Flair:
– Randy Orton (Captain)
– King Corbin
– Bobby Lashley

Hogan and Flair appeared on Miz TV a few weeks back on RAW to promote this match and these two legends did extra ordinary viewership numbers for their segment.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the Hogan-Flair segment ended up being the most-watched single segment on a live episode of RAW in a long time.
The segment added 500,000 extra viewers, who tuned in to see two of the greatest of all time in the same ring at the same time (almost going to war again!).
