2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71, according to TMZ Sports. Emergency responders were called to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida early Thursday morning, with reports indicating it was due to a cardiac arrest. Sources say multiple police vehicles and ambulances arrived at the scene, and Hogan was taken from the house on a stretcher and transported by ambulance.
Just weeks earlier, Hogan’s wife, Sky, dismissed rumors that he had fallen into a coma, saying his heart was “strong” and he was simply recovering from recent surgeries. Last month, TMZ reported speculation that Hogan was on his “deathbed,” though sources at the time insisted he was only experiencing side effects from a neck surgery he had undergone in May.
WCW Legend Sting issued the following statement on Hogan’s death:
“HULK HOGAN – THE GREATEST OF ALL
Can’t thank you enough for all that you did for me and for wrestling fans all over the world. I loved you and I will miss you.
My friend, Terry Bollea, RIP”
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H issued the following statement on Hogan’s death:
“WWE would not be where it is today without the larger-than-life characters that compete in the ring … and few, if any, loomed larger than Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea.
He was the archetype of what it meant to be a “Superstar” – a global sensation that inspired millions to work hard at whatever it was they wanted to accomplish and a look that made him recognizable to fans around the world.
Hulk Hogan, clad in red and yellow or nWo black and white, was simply put, iconic. As a Real American or the leader of one of the industry’s biggest factions, he transcended and elevated the entire business to heights never before seen – in every country and on every continent.
There was no one like The Hulkster and there very well may never be another. My family sends their condolences to his family, friends, and fans.”

Bubba The Love Sponge Was Right About Hulk Hogan’s Health
While everyone denied that Hulk Hogan’s condition was serious, Bubba The Love Sponge kept saying otherwise. A few days back, Bubba reported the following:
“Jimmy Hart reportedly told a close source Hogan can’t speak anymore due to trachea damage.
He’s been moved to his home in a hospital bed with private doctors. Transfer was done in secrecy — unmarked ambulances, garage entry, middle of the night.
How much longer do you think Hogan’s camp is going to not only withhold this information from the public but his business partners etc?”
Bubba also said the following on his podcast:
“Here’s what I got from my security guard: [Hulk Hogan] was transported to his house, but he’s in a hospital bed. They’ve gone as far as they can go at the hospital now. They’re keeping him comfortable. If you’re hooked up to two machines and you’re just laying there and you could have your own doctor show up at your house because you have so much money. He’s not in such dire needs that he needs to be in close proximity to emergency facility. Like he’s stable enough to be at home.
But rather than just be sitting here getting bed sores and muscle atrophy at Morton Plant, I can at least be home, get doctors and nurses to swing by my place to continue to check up on me. But I’ve been told that that’s where he’s at.
And the security guard said the measures that they went to make sure nobody saw him transported in an ambulance to his home was like Michael Jackson type stuff. My source says allegedly it was all done through like the loading docks with unmarked ambulances followed by an escort, then followed by backed up to the house with the garage door open. That happened in the middle of the night.”
Just yesterday, Jimmy Hart took to X to give an update on the Hulkster:
“Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!”
