3. WWE Bringing Back Hulk Hogan For WrestleMania 33?
After the Hulk Hogan controversy from last Summer, WWE hasn’t mentioned Hulk Hogan many times. However, that is slowly changing and Hulk Hogan’s voice was featured during a recent WWE Network promo that aired at Backlash 2016 & Raw.
Things have looked very positive after Hogan won the lawsuit against Gawker Media & put them out of business. Word is that Hogan would be back with the WWE by WrestleMania 33. This would be very fitting as WrestleMania 33 is in Orlando, Florida and Hogan lives in Florida as well. Hogan was supposed to be a big part of this year’s WrestleMania 32, as he would have been the part of the two biggest WrestleManias of all time in terms of attendance (WrestleMania 3 & WrestleMania 32), but things didn’t work out for him.
During an appearance on a radio show last year, below is what Triple H said about bringing the Hulkster back to the company:
“Do I think he can be forgiven and make amends with the world and move forward? Yeah absolutely. But at the same point in time for us in that time frame you’re putting up a message to the world of how you’ll tolerate things and how you’ll react to things. We did what we needed to do and he’ll do what he needs to do to get himself back.”
