During the recent Backlash 2023 premium-live-event on May 6th at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, famous rapper Bad Bunny defeated his former WrestleMania 37 Tag Team partner Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.
This match featured interference from several Superstars, including Rey Mysterio, Judgment Day, the LWO, Ruthless Aggression Era Veteran Carlito and New Generation Era Veteran Savio Vega.
The latter was interviewed on the WrestleBinge podcast and was asked whether he would like to manage Bad Bunny in his future WWE matches.
Here’s what the former leader of Los Boricuas replied:
“I’d love to. This story right there has roots. Many roots. We wrestle every week and we have to do new stuff every week, every time.
That story has roots. If they want to do it, it’s there. I already pitched something. The ball is in their court. I know what we can do. Let’s see what happens.”
Savio Vega first wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation as Kwang from January 1994 until April 1995, before he debuted without a mask as Savio Vega in May of 1995 and worked for the WWF till he was released in August 1998.
