After losing to Sanada in the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023 PPV, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry turned heel by attacking FTW Champion Hook (Taz’s son).

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry explained why he turned heel. Jack said he was robbed of two World Championships in a month and wasn’t going to let an entitled prick dangle his Title in his face.
Jack said he will be the one to take the FTW Title away from Hook and his family.
Hook came out and went after Jungle Boy, but Perry managed to escape.
During his promo, Jack also said the following:
“I’m still young, I’m still cashing fat checks, and I am still banging the hottest b*tch in this entire place.”
For those who don’t know, Jungle Boy is dating fellow AEW wrestler Anna Jay.

– Jon Moxley def. Tomohiro Ishii
– AEW World Champion MJF told Adam Cole that he impressed him by pretending to be sick and getting to miss the Forbidden Door PPV. MJF offered that the two of them hang out together and bond, and gave Cole a “Better Than You BayBay” T-Shirt.
– AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Keith Lee & AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo def. The Jericho Appreciation Society (Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker)
– The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page & Young Bucks) def. Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno)
After the match, The Blackpool Combat Club attacked The Elite. Jon Moxley announced they will end this feud on July 19th in a Blood & Guts match.
