• “I looked like an old man in the ring” – Hall Of Famer Isn’t Satisfied With His Final WWE Run
Kurt Angle made his return to WWE in 2017. He got inducted into the Hall of Fame and was appointed as the new General Manager of RAW by Vince McMahon on the night after WrestleMania 33.
The Olympic Gold Medalist returned to the ring at TLC 2017, where he teamed up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in The Shield after Roman Reigns was forced to miss the show.
He started his Farewell Tour a year later and faced a number of stars before hanging up his boots. His final match saw him losing to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Speaking on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, he said that he wasn’t satisfied with how he looked at that time and his performance in the ring.
“When I watched myself wrestle in WWE my last year, I looked like an old man in the ring. I was like wow, this is brutal. I couldn’t even look at myself. So I knew I had to have knee replacements. I had so much pain in my knees, arthritis and so much damage there.”

• 2 WWF Legends Got Facials At Vince McMahon’s Birthday Bash
Vince McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday at the end of last month. His birthday party was attended by several big names like John Cena, The Undertaker, Kane, Drew McIntyre, The Godfather and JBL.
The Godfather recently spoke about the fancy two-day event on the Poddin’ Ain’t Easy podcast, where he revealed that Mr. McMahon introduced him to his girlfriend.
“He had on like a Dr. Evil suit on, bro… I thought, Dr. Evil. He introduced me to his girlfriend, or whatever she was.”
The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that it took place at the 5-star Baccarat Hotel in New York City, where McMahon paid everything for his guests including the hotel rooms and even a New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. Jelly Roll provided musical entertainment during the event.
“Vince bought everything, paid for the hotel, just for us people.”
The Godfather also spoke about his reunion with The Undertaker at the hotel spa when he decided to get his first-ever facial.
“I get there, and I get in my own little room and get my little robe on and my little fufu slippers. I open the door… the room across me, door opens up. Who is it? The Undertaker. I go, ‘facial.’ He goes, ‘Yeah’… Who would ever thought, bro?”
The 64-year-old legend also mentioned the conversation he had with McMahon, where the former WWE Chairman told him that he had only invited his true friends to his birthday party.
He went on to say that McMahon “looked a lot better” and was “walking a lot better” than in recent videos that surfaced online.
