• “I slipped professionally, he checked me” – Former WWE Wrestler On Brodie Lee

A lot of Brodie Lee’s co-workers have commented on his death and told backstage stories about him.

His latest ex co-worker to comment on his death and tell a backstage story is former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback.

Here’s what The Big Guy tweeted:

“I sit frozen. I was hoping to have more ridiculous banter and take pics with the kids laughing. I will never forget your main event matches with you and Mox on that UK tour and you kicking my ass in bowling Bowling where Brodie collected the winnings. RIP big man and Red heart to your family.

I always wished we could have worked a lengthy singles program. Our singles matches were always fun and intense. Slapped me just to f**k around on tv. ALWAYS a joy to be around and I wish today wasn’t true. He worked so hard to always improve and always pushing himself.

Right before I left WWE I got upset at a finish changing. I was told I was going over the Wyatt Family on SD and it got changed later that day. I hated the chaos of nobody having no direction. Jon wasn’t happy with me and let me know. I slipped professionally, he checked me. 🙏 “
