• “I still feel like Adam Page shouldn’t be the AEW World Champion” – Former nWo Wolfpac Member

During a recent episode of his ‘Keepin it 100’ podcast, Old School WCW Veteran Konnan praised Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling for building new up and coming stars, but said that he thinks they put the World Title on “Hangman” Adam Page too soon.

Here’s what the former nWo Wolfpac member had to say:

“I applaud AEW for making new stars whether it’s Darby Allin, Jungle Boy or Jade [Cargill], or even this guy Adam Page. And it does help that you beat [Bryan Danielson] twice or at least once because the first one was a tie and you had great matches with him.

Despite all this, I still feel like Adam Page shouldn’t be the AEW World Champion, I still feel it’s too early. I still feel it is something he should have been given later.”

Adam Page won the AEW World Title from Kenny Omega in the main event of the Full Gear PPV on November 13, 2021.

Page’s next feud for the AEW World Title will be against Lance Archer. Archer returned on this week’s episode of Dynamite and attacked Page.
