World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins kicked off tonight’s RAW and he came out in a knee brace.
Rollins says he hurt his knee while doing a Moonsault during his match against Jinder Mahal last week.
Seth said there’s a real possibility he’ll miss WrestleMania 40. He underwent MRI and he has a grade 2 MCL tear and a partially torn meniscus. If he undergoes surgery, he’ll be out of action for 3-4 months, which means he’ll miss the biggest show of the year.
He said he doesn’t know what the future holds and he’s taking it on a day-to-day basis.
Imperium then came out. Seth said he they are out here to make an example out of him, then do what you gotta do.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther said do not worry, he is here because Seth has avoided him and he’ll tell what he thinks of Seth. Gunther said Seth has been put in the top spot where he’s supposed to bring prestige to a championship, just like him.
Gunther said looking Seth like this makes him sad. Seth said Gunther should’ve let him finish, as he doesn’t give a damn what the doctor says, he will rehab very hard and he will take this title into WrestleMania and do everything he can to walk out of the Show of Shows still the champion.
The Ring General said he’s going to win the Royal Rumble this Saturday and he’s going to choose Rollins at WrestleMania, and he’s going to target everything that’s not 100% on Rollins (knee & back) and become World Heavyweight Champion.
Rollins said bring it on and remember who he’s going after, and Gunther said he should know who’s coming after him. Both men shook hands.
Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods of The New Day then attacked Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.
