During an interview on The Ringer Wrestling Show, 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso said the following about his WWE future ahead of WrestleMania 41:
“I’m on the end of my career. I feel like I still have a couple years left. I still feel strong but this is the first time I kind of felt the years are catching up on me.
I think I’m getting older, man. I’ll be 40 in August. I love wrestling. Wrestling is everything. I’m just now getting to the point where I want to venture out a little bit more. Stuff like this (podcast).”
Jey also had a message for his critics:
“Can’t please every damn body. It’s easy to bring you down but I know my work. You can run it back, it’s on YouTube.”
Gunther vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship is currently scheduled to be the opening match of WrestleMania 41 – Night 1.

• CM Punk Reveals Which Match Should Actually Main Event WrestleMania 41
On The Ringer Wrestling Show, CM Punk said he’d book IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship as the main event of WrestleMania 41 if he was in Triple H’s spot:
“If it was up to me, believe it or not, Rhea, Bianca and IYO would be the main event. I’m not saying which night. I can tell you that if I was in Triple H’s spot, I would gravitate towards that.
But then I also see, like, my reasoning for that is when is IYO ever gonna get another chance? Bianca’s done it already. It’d be great if she got to do it again. Rhea hasn’t done it. You know, but Rhea 100%, you look at people and you say WrestleMania main eventer, Rhea Ripley is at the top of the list.”
IYO vs. Bianca vs. Rhea will be the opening match of Night 2 of WrestleMania 41.
