• The Usos Comment On Not Having To Play Any Character In WWE

During a recent interview with Fox 45, former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos talked about how they get ready for matches, being just themselves on TV, getting into wrestling and more.

Below are the highlights:

On how they get ready for matches:

Jimmy: “It’s all about longevity. Gotta keep that body, that car tuned up. That car can look nice on the outside, but if the engine ain’t runnin’ right you’re going to break down.”

Jey: “[We] play some Bob Marley, get in our own little corner. We get dressed and go over the game plan.”

On being just themselves on TV:

Jimmy: “Our characters – we’re lucky – we basically get to just be us out there. Some guys actually have to be somebody [else] or a character. I’m glad we get to be us, so that works. It’s easy, because it’s real.”

On getting into wrestling:

Jimmy: “We are the longest running tag team ever in WWE History. … Four brothers, we grew up beating each other up, watching my Dad and family on TV. Breaking coffee tables, putting holes in walls, jumping off couches, it’s natural [being in the ring].”

• Impact Wrestling’s Vice President Says “Never Say Never” To Former WWE Star Coming To Impact

During a recent conference call, Impact Wrestling’s co-executive vice president Don Calls had the following to say regarding the possibility of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore (who was released from WWE earlier this year) possibly coming to Impact Wrestling:

“Never say never. You evaluate talent based on need and what you’re looking to do. We have a long term plan for how we engage with talent in terms of who’s gonna be on the roster, what roster spots we need filled, etc. It’s not as much of a random thing. So, um, ya know … as with any other talent, I think time will tell.”
