Sean Ross Sapp reported earlier that Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox are leaving WWE.

In an update, Indi and Tegan got released, while Corbin was informed that his contract is about to expire and they won’t re-sign him.

Corbin tweeted the following about his departure:

“That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me.”

Indi was surprised by her release. After looking at the news on X, she tweeted: “Wait what”.

Later on, she tweeted:

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

Corbin joined the main roster again earlier this year as part of the WWE Draft, becoming a regular on SmackDown. Though he was initially hesitant about being teamed with Apollo Crews, he eventually grew to appreciate the partnership.

Despite this, WWE Creative hasn’t given much focus to Corbin and Crews on TV. Since his last televised match on the July 19 episode of SmackDown, Corbin has been absent from TV matches.

He’s been present at several SmackDown tapings and is not dealing with any injuries. Recently, Corbin participated in dark matches with The O.C. and Los Garza.

According to Fightful Select, WWE officials lost interest in Corbin and Crews:

“Originally, Baron Corbin wasn’t sold on the idea of being in a tag team with Apollo Crews, but he grew to like it. However, WWE creative hasn’t been keen on booking them, and the two have worked several dark matches in recent months.”
