Indy wrestler Eric Denis, who used to compete in the ICW Fighting Federation, passed away during a match after suffering a heart attack this past Sunday in Montreal. He was 40 years old.
Nurses at the event tried to revive him, but they were unsuccessful. They took him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead at arrival. Below is what the coordinator of ICW Fighting Federation said about this incident:
“Despite the alarming and tragic situation, the whole situation was under control. People were evacuated from the room, a matter of respect. We were extremely fortunate to have qualified staff for a situation like that.”
