Below are some top AEW news stories of the day.
• AEW is expected to see the return of “Switchblade” Jay White soon after being sidelined with a foot injury. The injury forced AEW to change their plans and led the Bang Bang Gang to vacate the Trios Championship.
White last competed on the July 6th episode of Collision, where he lost to “Hangman” Adam Page in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament.
Fightful Select reported that White was being evaluated at last week’s TV event, with hopes for an imminent return. AEW had considered him for the All In event, possibly in the Casino Gauntlet match, but he has not yet been cleared.
