• According to Wrestlenomics and 8NewsNow, WWE is receiving a $5 million grant from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) as part of a set of incentives to bring WrestleMania 41 to the city at the Allegiant Stadium on April 19 & 20 in 2025.

The agreement was finalized in less than two months before the official announcement on May 4, even though there were earlier reports that Minneapolis was the leading contender for next year’s WrestleMania.

In addition to the $5 million cash grant, emails obtained in response to the records request indicate that WWE will be given rent-free use of the LVCVA’s Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, likely for hosting WWE World (formerly Axxess). WWE will also benefit from a branding awareness campaign provided by the LVCVA.

Since the LVCVA is a governmental body, it must comply with public records requests. However, some information, including estimates of the local economic benefits, was redacted by the LVCVA.

It was also revealed that the LVCVA paid WWE a $300,000 site fee for SummerSlam 2021 (which also took place at the Allegiant Stadium), along with an additional $30,000 in marketing value.
