• Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes met last night and had an intense exchange. Here’s what WWE posted about it:
“Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns met up at Georgia Tech last night, Reigns’ alma mater in the heart of Rhodes’ hometown of Atlanta. This will also be the site of their epic tag team showdown against Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood on Oct. 5.
SmackDown cameras were on hand to capture the intense conversation between two of the biggest stars in WWE. Find out what the unlikely tandem have to say to each other ahead of their battle against The Bloodline when their epic meet is shown in its entirety tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown on USA.”

– LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade for the United States Championship
– WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax & Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton vs. Bayley & Naomi
(If Bayley & Naomi win, the woman who scores the pinfall will face Nia Jax for the Title at Bad Blood. If Bayley & Naomi lose, the woman who gets pinned or taps out will be forced to leave SmackDown permanently)

• John Ourand from Puck reported that AEW’s TV rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery will be a four-year agreement, with three years guaranteed and an option for a fourth year. The deal is expected to be valued at around $170 million annually.
On Busted Open Radio, AEW President Tony Khan said the following about these rumors:
“I didn’t bring my sunglasses to the Sirius studio today, but the future is so bright, I need them. The future is that bright.
I know there have been a lot of reports. I have not done any of the leaking. With all due respect to the fine people at the Puck establishment and the Puck people, I didn’t talk to them. I know they have been reporting things that are very interesting.
There are a lot of reports and rumors. I have not confirmed, and Warner Brothers have not confirmed anything officially. We have a really exciting future there. I can say with 100% certainty, AEW and TBS and TNT are here to stay for a long time.”
