Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, including Roman Reigns, The Rock, Cody Rhodes & Vince McMahon.

• Cody Rhodes won the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match last night by eliminating CM Punk in the end.

After the match, Cody pointed towards Roman Reigns and signaled that he’s coming for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The American Nightmare also confirmed during the press conference that he’s coming for The Tribal Chief in the main event of WrestleMania 40.

According to Wrestling Observer, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is still scheduled to take place in 2024.

This is interesting, as there were rumors that Rock vs. Reigns could take place at Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia next month, but Rock himself said during an interview that this dream match is a WrestleMania main event and could end up being the main event of the greatest WrestleMania of all time.

This has begun speculation that Roman could pull double duty at WrestleMania XL, facing Rock on one night and Cody on the other night.
