During a recent episode of his weekly ‘Grilling JR’ podcast, WWF Legend Jim Ross shared his opinion on intergender wrestling and revealed that he wasn’t exactly a fan of Chyna wrestling men during the famous Attitude Era.

Here’s what J.R. had to say:

“I’m not a fan of intergender wrestling. I understand if you’re booked and looking for a payday, I understand why people would do it.

However, I don’t know for the overall health of the wrestling business, if women wrestling men is the thing to do.

Even though Chyna had a great physique, it was just a little unrealistic for me. It didn’t feel right to me.”

During her 1997-2001 World Wrestling Federation career, Chyna managed to win the WWF Women’s Championship and even won a men’s title when she became the WWF Intercontinental Champion twice.

After she passed away in 2016, Chyna was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019, alongside the other members of D-Generation X.
