• “It would be a really selfish move for Vince McMahon to come back under any circumstances” – WWE Higher-Up
Vince McMahon retired from all positions in WWE a few months back due to the hush money scandal.
However, he’s now thinking about coming back.
The Wall Street Journal reported the following a few days back:
“Ex-WWE CEO Vince McMahon has told people that he intends to make a comeback; that he received bad advice from people close to him to step down amid a sexual-misconduct investigation; and that the allegations would have blown over had he stayed.”
According to Fightful Select, a higher-up in WWE told them that Vince shouldn’t return because WWE’s business is doing fine without him, the stock price increased & backstage morale is better:
“It would be a really selfish move for Vince to come back under any circumstances. The reason he left, how business has done since then — it’d be really selfish. But selfish activities are what led to him leaving in the first place.”
