• “It’s a silly performance” – Batista On Playing Drax The Destroyer
WWE Legend Batista’s final appearance as Drax the Destroyer will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be released in the United States on May 5th 2023.
The Animal is leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and he’s relieved.
Here’s what the former WWE Champion said about this character during an interview with GQ Magazine:
“I’m so grateful for Drax. I love him. But there’s a relief (that it’s over). It wasn’t all pleasant.
It was hard playing that role. The makeup process was beating me down. And I just don’t know if I want Drax to be my legacy — it’s a silly performance, and I want to do more dramatic stuff.”
