• “It’s his time to help elevate Roman Reigns” – Jimmy Korderas To New SmackDown Star

During a recent interview with Wrestlinginc, former WWF referee Jimmy Korderas talked about new SmackDown Superstar Drew McIntyre possibly being Roman Reigns’ next opponent for the Universal Championship.

Here’s what Korderas said:

“Drew McIntyre could be next on the card, and there is a way to get Drew over without him going over against Roman Reigns, as well.

I kind of feel sorry for Drew, in some respect, because he was pinned as ‘the guy’ last WrestleMania (in 2020). But at the same time, now, maybe it’s his time to help elevate Reigns.”

After Survivor Series 2021 (where Roman Reigns vs. Big E in a Universal Champion vs. WWE Champion match is expected to take place), it could be very well possible that McIntyre faces The Tribal Chief for the Universal Championship, since McIntyre is already involved with Reigns in 6-man dark tag team matches after the shows go off the air.
