This Sunday at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view, NJPW wrestler Sanada will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against AEW wrestler “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
During an interview with Tokyo Sports, Sanada took a shot at Jack Perry by saying the following:
“[Jungle Boy’s knowledge] is zero. It’s sad to see someone like that challenge [for the Title]. It’s good that the open challenge is decided so easily. It’s the IWGP, I think it’s worth more than the AEW belt.”
Jungle Boy is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion, but has never held a singles title in a major promotion.
