• “It’s time to grow up” – Hall Of Famer On Leaving WWE

After retiring from active professional wrestling, Old School ECW/WWF Tag Team Legend D-Von Dudley became a backstage producer for WWE from 2016 until he was released from the promotion in January 2023.

D-Von was recently interviewed by famous pro wrestling journalist Bill Apter, where he spoke about his departure from WWE.

Here’s what the 2018 WWE Hall of Famer had to say:

“I love those guys and I think they’re tremendous people. I love how they welcomed me into the family and took care of me for so many years.

But, just like your parents, not saying they look at me like my parents, you always have to go away from the nest and do your own thing.

It’s time to grow up.”
