Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Saraya and more.
• During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Saraya talked about the issues she faces on social media:
“My requested DMs is the dark web. I do not wanna go in there. I know there will be unsolicited d**k pics. Men do not give a sh*t. Social media is like a mask to them, so they can do and say whatever they want and get away with it. Which is the crazy part.
I’ve had people say they’re gonna r@pe me, they’re gonna murder me and all this crazy sh*t. [Women] get it all the time. Even when I tag my friends that aren’t so much in the public eye, they end up getting hounded in their DMs.”

• During a recent Q&A episode of the Fightful podcast, a fan asked the following question:
“Is there a rule against blood in some states? I heard that was an issue in the (CM) Punk match in NYC.”
Sean Ross Sapp replied:
“Yes. For a lot of states that have an athletic commission regulating pro-wrestling… first off it’s a scam, ridiculous, they don’t care, it’s a money grab… but in a lot of [those states] blading is illegal and bleeding can cause stoppage to a match.
This is why WWE didn’t come to Kentucky for a long time. We had an athletic commission, and still do, but it was mega strict back then and it caused matches to be stopped in the middle because they had to make the bleeding stop.”
• Former WWE Women’s Champion Asuka has been sidelined following knee surgery last year, though she continued wrestling for some time despite the injury. This included competing at Backlash France in April 2024, where she and Kairi Sane lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
After announcing her break, Asuka underwent surgery and began rehab, sharing her recovery journey through vlogs on her YouTube channel.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on the Fightful Select Q&A earlier this year that a pitch was made to have Asuka return and compete in a tag team match at WrestleMania 41, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
In an update, PWNexus is reporting that Asuka is scheduled to return on the RAW roster sometime in May, likely after the Backlash PLE.
