Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Jacob Fatu and Samantha Irvin.
• As seen in the main event of last night’s RAW, Bron Breakker defeated Jey Uso to win back the Intercontinental Championship.
The Bloodline interfered in this match and Jacob Fatu hit Jey with a superkick and slammed him on top of the announce table with a Samoan Drop.
After RAW went off the air, the dark (untelevised) main event featured WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
This was Fatu’s first singles match in WWE and he suffered his first pinfall loss in the company during this match.

• On Monday, Samantha Irvin announced that she is leaving WWE.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE and Samantha couldn’t agree on her working outside projects, so Samantha resigned:
“She’s actually been thinking about it for a year. She’s got some outside projects she wants to do, apparently couldn’t come to terms with how it worked with WWE, and off she goes.
She wants to be a singer. She wants to get more involved with her music. It was just something she had been talking about for a long, long time, and finally pulled the trigger on it, and that’s about it, really.
It’s not like planning on going to AEW, not saying 100 percent that she won’t go. Ricochet actually tweeted that she’s not going, and it’s not her intention to go there.”
